From Union Springs AD, Todd Salls ~ Our home games will be played at AJ Smith Elementary on Homer Street in the village, same as we have played for many years. We have limited seating but usually works for modified games.
We did have a situation last night where our gym became overwhelmed with spectators and athletes so we will need to change our rules for home games regarding spectators. We will only be allowing spectators for the 7th grade game in the gym for that game. Once that game is complete and the spectators begin to leave the school we will then allow the 8th grade spectators to enter the school and gymnasium. A normal modified game takes approximately one hour, please ask you parents not to arrive early for the 8th grade game, they will not be able to enter the gym. We will not start the 8th grade game before 5:30, regardless of the 7th grade outcome. Sorry for the change, this is the best we can do while allowing both home and away spectators. Thanks.
